About PurePDF
PurePDF is a free, no-signup, no-watermark PDF toolkit built for one simple reason: your documents are yours, and a PDF tool shouldn't need to see them to help you.
Why PurePDF exists
Most online PDF tools work by uploading your file to a server, processing it there, and sending back a result — which means your documents (resumes, contracts, ID scans, financial statements) pass through someone else's infrastructure. PurePDF's standard tools (merge, split, compress, sign, convert, and more) run entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded anywhere for these tools to work.
What "private" actually means here
When a tool is marked 100% Private, no network request carrying your file's content is ever made — you could disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool would still work. A small number of tools (like AI-assisted features) genuinely need a server; those are clearly labeled before you use them, never hidden.
Free, with no catch
There are no accounts, no usage limits, no watermarks, and no premium tier that unlocks "real" features. PurePDF is free because running it costs very little — your own browser does the processing, not a server farm.
